Green Steps

In 2009 our family had an experience that made us step back and evaluate what we wanted in this world for our future,  especially our children.  After much time and thought, we made the decision to start this business.  It is a family-based business with a focus on the steps we can take to improve our world.  One of the goals of our business is to show people the small steps you can choose to make a change.  It doesn't require thousands of dollars or major renovations, but can start with simple changes.  We hope you are able to find something in our business that can help you take steps to make a change and  help preserve our precious world.

              

The goal of Green Steps is to assist consumers in the process to manage energy efficiency in homes and businesses through education, evaluations and products.

   

John conducts energy audits for homes and businesses.  He is a licensed BPI Building Analyst.  In February 2011 he completed his sixth SEI training for solar installation. The classes he has completed are: Solar Electric Fundamentals and Grid Direct Design; Grid Direct Solar Electric Systems and Code Criteria,  Grid Direct Solar Electric Lab Week, Battery-based PV Design and NEC Code compliance, Battery-based lab week and Solar Business and Technical Sales Training..  He is an installer and dealer in solar panels for homes, RVs and businesses.   John will take the NABCEP Photovoltaic Installer Exam in March to become one of the few NABCEP installers in the state of Wyoming.  In September 2011 John received his NABCEP PV installer certification.  He became only 1 of 4 certified installers in the state of Wyoming after passing a rigorous testing process.
